Eight teams will be \u201cbuilt\u201d, four related to radiological protection and four from other biomedical fields (preferably molecular biology and immunodiagnosis), in virtual reality and\/or mixed reality. This virtual biomedical equipment is compatible with various platforms: mobile, tablet or PC while the mixed reality ones will be visualized with the HoloLens device.<\/p>\n<p>The following simulators have been developed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/citometro-de-flujo\/\">Flow cytometer for PC.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/crash-cart\/\">Crash cart for PC.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/oxygen-therapy\/\">Respiratory case for Oculus.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/electrocardiogram\/\">Electrocardiogram case for Oculus.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/acelerador-lineal-hololens\/\">Linear accelerator for HoloLens.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/lineal-acelerator-oculus\/\">Linear accelerator for Oculus.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/ambulance-a2\/\">Class A2 ambulance.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/reeb.es\/en\/clase-c-ambulance\/\">Class C ambulance.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The justification for the creation of this resource arises from the need generated by the lack of student knowledge (and often also of teachers) of countless pieces of biomedical equipment used in the hospitals where they work.<\/p>\n<p>The main target group are students of biomedical higher education and teachers of subjects where complex, expensive or dangerous technological equipment is used. It is also a resource that biomedical companies could use for staff training, so the third target group would be the hospital company and\/or stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>The methodology applied will be based on team work with the action focused on the needs of the healthcare educational centers and with validation of the prototypes. The digital technical work will be carried out by the University of La Laguna and Vidzeme. Each of them will work 4 teams initially that will be shared with the other for improvement proposals. The final product will be agreed upon by both parties.
