In collaboration with Health and Safety Services Management in the Canary Islands (GSC) and TASISA (HTGROUP), one of the current service providers for non-urgent medical transportation for the Canary Islands Emergency Service, a Class A2 ambulance with a bariatric stretcher was scanned. Information points in text and multimedia format (images and videos) were incorporated into the ambulance to enhance the resource.
This educational tool allows instructors to provide students in the Emergency Health Care Vocational Training Program, Certificate of Professionalism in Medical Transportation, etc., with a closer look at their typical work environment, overcoming the limitations in terms of cost, space, and maintenance that would arise from having physical ambulances and their complete equipment in educational centers.
