Computed tomography (CT) is a diagnostic imaging technique that uses X-rays to obtain detailed images of the inside of the body. In this process, a specialized equipment called a CT scanner is used to capture multiple cross-sectional images of the area being examined. These images are then combined by computers to create a high-resolution three-dimensional image.
