Nuclear Medicine Service at Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital (HUNSC). This virtual environment allows you to explore the different corridors, cold and hot areas, that make up this service and lead to the various spaces required for conducting isotopic studies: the hot lab where radiopharmaceuticals are prepared and stored, the radiopharmaceutical administration rooms, the imaging rooms (gamma camera and PET), the control rooms, as well as the radioimmunoassay (RIA) laboratory and the waste storage area.
The use of radiation-emitting isotopes makes it challenging for outsiders to visit the service. However, these types of technologies provide access to these places and facilitate the learning process for students.
